(SOLD)-->> 1990 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo   1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville  <<----(SOLD)

1956 Chevrolet 210   (SOLD)-->> 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo    1995 Toyota 4-Runner SR5<<--(SOLD)

One of my more expensive "hobbies" is cars, and at the moment, I actually have three: A 2002 GMC Envoy SLT (no pic yet), a 1956 Chevy 210, and a 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo. I also used to have a 1990 Plymouth Laser LS Turbo and a 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I gave the Laser to charity (Red Cross) in August 2000, and traded the 4Runner for the Envoy in November 2001. Basically, the Envoy is my practical car, the Porsche is my fun car, and the Chevy is my classic.  Getting two of the three "used" helped make it affordable (the Laser's and Envoy are the only cars I've ever bought new).

I do most of my own work (with help from my Dad) on them, where possible, including body work, painting, and most mechanicals. I also installed custom stereos in the 4Runner and Porsche...nothing ridiculous, just a good solid sound. The 1956 Chevy is currently under restoration, as time and money permits (almost finished as of March 2002).

My parents also have several of "classic" cars, and in particular my Dad had a 1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville that he sold...fortunately, he has another one just like it that will be restored at some point.
