On my Netscape site,
including the following:
-Cover of "Red
Barchetta" (by Rush, originally on Moving Pictures) -
5.8MB
-Cover of "Hey
You" (by Pink Floyd, originally on The Wall) - 4.2MB
At my GeoCities site,
including the following:
-Cover of "Red
Hill Mining Town" (by U2) - 4.7 MB
-Cover of "Since
I've Been Loving You" (by Led Zeppelin) - 7.4MB
I also have a few on iDrive,
which you can access here:
-Cover of Freebird (by Lynyrd Skynyrd) - 3.0MB
-Cover of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (by Elton John) - 7.4MB
-Cover of Different Strings (by Rush, also includes pieces of other
Rush songs) - 6.6MB
-Cover of YYZ (by Rush) - 3.6MB
-Cover of Purple Rain (by Prince...this is from a John Petrucci guitar
clinic) - 8.3MB
Note that these are all "near-CD-quality" MP3's (mostly 128k/sec), so the quality's pretty good (excellent in most cases). I've got more that I've collected from various sources, but these freebie sites only give ya so much disk space, ya know? :) Here's some other clips I have:
Covers:
-"Free Bird" (by Lynyrd Skynyrd)
-"Damage, Inc" (by Metallica)
-"Winter" (by Tori Amos, originally on Little
Earthquakes)
-"Bad" (by U2)
-Medley of Rush songs, including "Different Strings"
-"Purple Rain" (by Prince)....I think this is from
a guitar/drum clinic...only other instrument is drums.
-"Perfect Strangers" (by Deep Purple), with Iron
Maiden's Bruce Dickenson on vocals.
-"YYZ" (by Rush, originally on Moving Pictures)
-"Tears" by Rush (originally on 2112)
Unreleased tracks written by DT, many of which are from the '99 DT Fan
Club Christmas CD:
-Speak To Me
-Where Are You Now
-Raise The Knife
-Lost Without You
-Cover My Eyes
-Eve (both studio and live versions)
-To Live Forever (both studio and live versions)
-Don't Look Past Me
-A Change of Seasons (original '89 version, live)
Plus a bunch of other unreleased live tracks, jams, etc.... If I had more web space, I'd post 'em all...
Anyway, I'm making these available only because they are not available on any commercially-available product. In other words, you can't go out and buy them from any legal source. If the band made money from selling them in anyway, I wouldn't post them here, and if any legitimate band member or representative requests that I remove these files, I will promptly comply. Until then (hopefully never!), I'll keep them available for other die-hard fans.
Enjoy!
Craig
