Although it isn't something I do regularly, I very much enjoy whitewater rafting.   I've been a number of times on the New River and once on the Gauley River, both in southern West Virginia.  It's really a blast, but you have to go on a good river, and during the right part of rafting season (that depends on which river you're on).  If you like the water rides at amusement parks, you ain't seen nuttin'!
