The Hoxie House in Sandwich, MA was built around 1640, and still sits in its original location. It was fully and authentically restored starting in 1959. Was originally owned by Rev. John Smith, but named after Captain Abraham Hoxie, who owned it in the mid-1800s. (07/23/2004)
