Taken at Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, in the "Old Faithful" geyser basin, this is called "Riverside Geyser". It only erupts every 5.5 to 7.5 hours, but when it does, the eruption goes for up to 22 minutes. I was lucky enough to walk by just after it started. (08/22/2004) Riverside Geyser shoots up to 75 feet up in the air when it erupts.
