Across the street from the "Mud Volcano" region of Yellowstone Nat'l Park, this is the "Sulfur Caldron," and is the most acidic geothermal feature in the park. The contents of the Sulfur Caldron are as acidic as battery acid or stomach acid....but at about 190°F, so you can get burned two different ways at once. (08/24/2004)
