Cruise to Alaska on the "Serenade of the Seas" (Royal Caribbean). Taken on the third day (second full day) of the cruise, at the indescribable Hubbard Glacier. At a glance, it doesn't look very big in the picture, does it? Couldn't be more wrong, because this was taken from over a mile away, and that's another *cruise*ship* parked right in front of the glacier (in the middle). That's right, another 2000-passenger cruise ship, sticking probably 100-150 feet out of the water, but completely dwarfed by the glacier, which at some points is over 1000-feet thick, solid ice.
