Yosemite National Park, California. This is the view (in one direction) from Glacier Point. Just to the right of the middle (where the shadow falls from the mountain's peak) *would* be Yosemite Falls, except that it's fed by snow melting and spring rains, and is often dried up by September. If you look, you can see the upside-down "V" showing where the water usually runs. (10/14/2004)
