Taken along the Oregon coast, at Cape Foulweather, which was discovered by Captain James Cook (the English explorer) on March 7, 1778. This is called the Devil's Punchbowl, and during high tide it fills with water through the hole at its base. It's about 100' in diameter. (09/27/2004)
