Taken along the Oregon coast, at the site of the Yaquina Head lighthouse. These are tide pools at the shoreline below the lighthouse, which contain their own ecosystem, with starfish, sea anenome, hermit crabs, and other marine life. If you look carefully, there are at least four starfish in this picture, some mussels, several sea anenome's, a bunch of sea urchins, and four toes. :-) (09/27/2004)
