This is "Monument Valley," which is mostly in northern Arizona, but I entered it from the smaller Utah portion (all of Monument Valley is within the Navajo Nation, which crosses the state boundary). This shot shows one of the famous "Mitten" formations. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy, hazy day, so although the scenery was still beautiful, it wasn't great "photo weather." (11/10/2004)
